My day job is with Two Sigma Investments, LLC, and my night job is teaching Compiler Construction at NYU.
For convenience I have collected some hard to find papers and presentations.
I am a Debian GNU/Linux developer (was most active 1993-1999 but recently reactivated). I still do all my computer work and play on Debian GNU/Linux systems. I also enjoy hacking our MythTV installation.
I am a member of two interesting Debian initiatives: the Debian Haskell group and the ShowMeBox portable data analysis project.
In the past I was the original author of the Xy-pic diagram package for TeX (active 1991-1999, I even used to be quite active in TUG) and I created the FleXML program for generating super-efficient DTD-driven XML processors (1999-2000); recently my open source activities have been focused on my CRSX higher order rewriting engine.
In case you want more (opportunistically updated) information, here is my résumé (pdf) and my publications (BibTeX).
Privately, I enjoy my family: Eva and Sofus.
